Kendriya Vidyalaya Sumerpur, Hamirpur (UP) is run by KVS, an autonomous body constituted under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and has the same syllabus and curriculum of studies. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sumerpur, Hamirpur (UP) was opened in June 2020. Presently the school is running in the campus of Shri Gayatri Vidya Mandir Inter College Sumerpur, Hamirpur (UP). It is located on Kanpur-Sagar Highway (NH-86). It is about 17 km from the district headquarters of Hamirpur (UP). The nearest railway station is Bharuwa Sumerpur Railway Station (BSZ) which is about 2 km from the school.
